Electricity

This is a project for our Arts of Expression class at RIT. We will document the history of electricity by backdating blog entries to reflect innovations in the field of electricity. Because computer time didn't start until January 1, 1970, and a good portion of our entries would fall before that date, all entries will be dated 1000 years in the future (i.e. 2999 = 1999)

Oil

Crude oil was first utilized by humans more than 2500 years ago. It was not widely used to power anything until cars were invented.
